The Canadian congregations of Calgary & Winnipeg, along with US based
Shepherd’s Voice Magazine of Chicago share their extreme excitement in announcing a new Feast site for 2019!
We sincerely look forward to welcoming you to Calgary, Alberta, Canada this year as we celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles from October 14 – 21.
Set in the prairie foothills of Western Canada’s Rocky Mountains, Calgary offers a beautiful autumn setting for the Feast of Tabernacles. Cool mornings and warm afternoons are a timely feature which are sure to make getting around town to visit the local attractions and events enjoyable. Calgary has grown to be a vibrant city and is one of the top ten cities to visit according to Tripadvisor.
We’re sure you’ll find this to be a great location for brethren to gather with convenient
access to attractions in the Calgary area at a venue with tremendous views of the
Canadian Rockies. A look west from the hotel venue will provide a beautiful display of
God’s creation. The picturesque Rocky Mountains are clearly visible and are especially
captivating at sun down. The location of our meeting room & featured hotel is such that it sits near the highway and main arteries to downtown and more. From this location, there aren’t many points in the city one couldn’t get to within 15 to 20 minutes – even by public transit. Numerous nearby and downtown shopping outlets, along with a variety of dining options will make a Feast in Calgary a unique and fulfilling experience for folks traveling from the US and from across Canada.
Services will be held daily in the Castle Mountain Room at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center located at 2120 16 Avenue, NE Calgary.

some of the more scenic areas of Beltline downtown and Kensington.
Speaking of the Rockies….Here’s a Great idea!
The Calgary site includes a mid-Feast flex day wherein there are no services to
attend. A great idea would be to enjoy a trip to Banff National Park. A traditional Western Canadian tourist destination, Banff offers unique shopping outlets, restaurants and the ever famous Banff Springs Hotel. Those wishing to visit hot spring pools and local hiking trails can take advantage of the numerous options Banff offers.
Banff is located 130km/80 miles West of the Clarion Hotel.
○ Roughly an hour and a half drive
○ From the hotel head southeast toward 17 Ave NE for about 45m/50 yards
and turn right at the 2nd cross street onto Trans-Canada Hwy/AB-1 West
(16th Ave NE)
○ Once on the highway – Travel west for the next 123km/76 miles
It’s that simple. Once within the last few Kilometres of the park, watch for and take the
Banff exit. The area is well marked in English and French and you can’t miss the park
gates. Use any lane to turn left onto Banff Ave/Lake Minnewanka Scenic Drive.
Remember, it will be mid October so the weather in the mountains can be
unpredictable. Certainly this mountain area boasts a crisp autumn day, and is quite
enjoyable at this time of year. If you enjoy the outdoor experience, a day in Banff is a
must. It will however be advisable to dress for more winter-like conditions.
